Today, we discussed the texts critiques you recently handed in in order to clear up some ambiguities in preparation for your research paper. I handed these back to you for further revision (you are to clean up the one entitled "The Sikhs in Canada" and resubmit).
I then handed out your major assignment (a research paper) and a booklet on citation which we discussed. If you were not here, these are in your portfolio. The due dates, which are on the assignment are as follows
Thesis: Due Friday, October 4
Text Critiques (minimum of fice) due Thursday, October 17
Outline of paper due October 22
Rough draft (including student evaluation) due Friday, October 25
Final Draft (including adult or peer evaluation) due Friday, November1
